Will definitely come back to this place, full of great energy and love.

The location is very close to the beach- the nicest beach in Nungwi. Max and Elena are very nice, they helped us with tours organisation and anything we needed. The staff is very helpful and nice. Breakfast is good and tasty, also the food here is very good and affordable. We loved our stay here at Babalao Bungalows. I highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely be coming back to this slice of paradise.

The property is so pretty- the gardens are beautiful and it’s a quick walk to the beach. Although TianDe isn’t directly on the beach, Mariola (the owner) has a friendly relationship with a neighboring hotel that is first row, so guests can spend time there during the day. The bar and restaurant area are lovely and the food is yummy and fresh- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool is sparkling, and the staff is warm and hard-working. Our room was clean and comfortable, with A/C, tea/coffee, good shower, nice decor. Mariola and her boyfriend live on site- they are doing a fantastic job running TianDe with a lot of hard work and love. We wish them success and will recommend to TianDe to anyone traveling to Zanzibar.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, reminiscent of those in 4 to 5-star hotels. The rooms were equipped with both fans and air conditioning, and they were always clean and tidy. The beautifully landscaped courtyard added to the overall charm. The breakfast spread was unbelievably delicious, and the chef truly impressed us with the delightful dishes we tried. A special highlight was the friendly little monkey in the courtyard. We enjoyed spending time with it, feeding it, and it was heartwarming to see it happily playing with us every day. We want to thank the Mr. who runs this hotel, he helped us with even the smallest details during our stay. We highly recommend this accommodation, and we will come back again for sure. Mitar & Viki

Rauhallinen kohde, missä ainoa häiritsevä tekijä on ärsyttävän sitkeät rantakaupustelijat/retkien tyrkyttäjät. Poikkeuksena Masait, jotka olivat hyvin ystävällisiä ja uskoivat kerrasta jos ei kiinnostanut... Kannattaa mennä 100m rannalta sisäänpäin, kylään käymään, niin näkee heti hieman aidompaa Sansibaria!

We really had a great stay at Mapenzi Beach Resort. Staff was always very kind, very authentic and open-hearted. Menu was very rich in variety and very delicious. Live barbecue every day, delicious pasta, salads and local food. We had a beach villa first row at the beach, which was beautiful. We made several trips, snorkeling, dolphins, reef tour and safari - which can easily be booked at the hotel (way more expensive) or at the very kind local sales people at the beach, which will arrange whatever you wish. Hieno, hyvinpidetty hotelli kauniilla paikalla. Täällä kelpaa katsella auringonlaskuja! Mukava ja avulias henkilökunta. Hotellilla ihana, rauhallinen tunnelma. Todella paljon tekemistä hotellilla ilman lisämaksua, kuten snorklaus, SUP, melonta, minigolf, pingis, katamaran-ajelu... Ruoka oli hyvää, ja vaihteli päivittäin. Hotellihuone oli siisti. Tosi hyvä hinta-laatusuhde!

Hotelli oli viihtyisä, ihanat kukkaset sängyllä yllätyksenä. Tosin jostain ilmeisesti ikkunanraosta pääsi pieniä hyönteisiä sängylleni.

The food was excellent with healthy food choices. The was staff great. Truly all-inclusive. Lots of different wines to chose from. Fantastic location.

It's a paradise on the island. Serene environment and helpful staff. Wonderful for get-aways. Fill with beautiful natural vegetation

Hotel is beautiful for couple of nights. Not much to do. Balcony is nice and view. Needs more maintenance.
